Who helped us? Shaktipeethas.org

This is a post which I'm really thinking to write since one year. Well, there are many. But, some websites helped a lot in bringing Shaktipeethas.org up. I now explain briefly about few important ones.

Google :)

You may laugh, but I learned a lot online, through Google.

PhpBB :

This is the Software we are using to run Shaktipeethas forum. See PhpBB3.

PhpBBSeo :

It is a modified version of PhpBB, for better Search engine optimization. i.e, to get more visitors from Google, Yahoo, Bing etc.

LithiumStudios :

EXreaction, the Admin of LithiumStudios.org is very good at Php language, and we used many Mods created by him for PhpBB.

GMapEZ :

Excellent code to use Google maps in pure html / xhtml. We used it for Travel guide forum.

DynamicDrive :

This website gives good javascript codes. We used it to create simple Slide shows in our site.

HiGopi.com :

Gopi created a good software called Ucedit to type Telugu by using English keyboard. We used it for Telugu forum.

Spiritfind :

Introducing a website online is nothing but making it visible to people who search for it. But, it's not that simple. Search engines often ignore lot of websites and show only standard websites in their results. We can become important to search engines only by getting some good links from relevant standard sites. Spiritfind is a directory of Spiritual websites. It gave us the first useful link.

I'm now, saying thanks to all these website owners and many others who helped Shaktipeethas.org.

Shaktipeethas 2nd Anniversary

We are happy to announce that Shaktipeethas.org, today, is entering into it's 3rd year. It was first started on Dasara 2007. By the end of first year it converted itself into a forum with many features and good user interaction. In the second year it served more than one lakh devotees. Though we are striving hard on our part, this year, we are expecting a better contribution from our members for the bright future of our site.

Shaktipeethas forum ready

We are happy to announce that our Shaktipeethas forum is ready and is available for all. You can register and participate in the holy discussions running there.

Additional content added :

A Travel guide forum is created and all maps are placed in that. Now you can find 18 shakti peethas map, 51 shakti peethas map, 12 Jyotirlingas map, Kamakhya map, Ujjain map, Varanasi map, Srisailam map and Hyderabad to Srisailam travel map . All these maps will be useful to you while traveling to those places.

Shaktipeethas.org is converting in to a forum. 

We are planning to make the website open to all so that every body can share their knowledge. New forum will retain the same ideology of previous Shakti peethas site. It will encourage you to use the facilities provided by the forum and gives support in doing so.
